This event was held this past weekend at the Luther Burbank Center, in Santa Rosa, CA. It is my favorite event to participate in. I love local shows, and I really love visiting with the public and really recharging my artistic energy. The event is sponsored by Wee Three Children’s Store (Santa Rosa) and is typically a 2 day event, and features “lightly loved” children’s wear, as well as vendors offering new and exciting products for baby and toddler.

The first evening is specifically for the preview and the very serious shoppers..good deals are had! Usually a little chaotic and vendors getting settled in what is hopeful to be a great sale!

The second day is my favorite. On this day, moms along with their little ones and grandmas and even the hubby along to shop for special finds. I am always happy to see the happiness and wonder in little ones with their eye on a possible favorite new blanket!

I wasn’t knowing what to expect with this particular show; with economy hitting so hard, you really just wait to see what might be in store. The attendance was pretty fair. I was happy to see that people are still shopping, purchasing items that they will use and appreciate. Prices were great, as many very pleased customers found!

The next show is scheduled tenatively in October, and I am looking forward to it. I am told that the consignment area will be separated from the many vendors scheduled to attend. The event will be such a great holiday shopping event, with great deals, beautiful finds and more!

And yes..BELLA BUBS will be in attendance as well!

THIS IS A VERY SPECIAL FUNDRAISING EVENT..

Dwayne was diagnosed with MEN1 in 2000. He had a very large tumor in his thymus - stage IV - attached to his venicava. The tumor was surgically removed and he received treatments of chemo & radiation. A couple of years later he developed a tumor in his pancreas and it was removed surgically along with 60% of his pancreas. In the past 2 years he has gone through chemo & radiation 2-3 times.

Right now Dwayne is in the fight of his life battling Cancer. Dwayne has been battling Cancer for Eight Years now and it has been a tough road. Today his whole life is dedicated to fighting this very ugly disease and is fortunate to have great Family and Friends to help him during his battle.

Dwayne’s fiance Karrie Branson is always by his side to give him strength and help him up when he stumbles.

With the economy being such a dark place, we would like to offer our Fundraiser Blanket in each size, to help make it more affordable to make a contribution. 50% of the proceeds will go the Dwayne’s designated bank account. This will hopefully help with the mounting medical bills.

Since my little bub loves the minky bib so much, it only makes sense that the burpie should also be so luxurious. As a mom, I know that every new mother wants only the softest, most welcoming feeling of calm next to her precious bub.

My little bub is now 3 years old. My goodness, where does the time go? Every event of everyday is “let me do it”. And so, a baby bib suddenly wasn’t as popular with him. As I watched my little darling in front of his one of many favorite programs, his minky blanket clutched in his hands I thought, how about a minky bib? The blanket is so soothing and comforting. To my sewing machine I went, and created my first luxury bib.

Each meal of each day, my ever-growing toddler goes to his draw in the kitchen and picks out his soft “big boy” bib for another fabulous eating adventure!

Like my cotton bibs, these beauties are durable and sized to fit from infant all the way to toddler.
