My little bub is now 3 years old. My goodness, where does the time go? Every event of everyday is “let me do it”. And so, a baby bib suddenly wasn’t as popular with him. As I watched my little darling in front of his one of many favorite programs, his minky blanket clutched in his hands I thought, how about a minky bib? The blanket is so soothing and comforting. To my sewing machine I went, and created my first luxury bib.

Each meal of each day, my ever-growing toddler goes to his draw in the kitchen and picks out his soft “big boy” bib for another fabulous eating adventure!

The San Francisco International Gift Show
Bella Bubs participated in it’s first trade show, a debut if you will! For those of you who may not be familiar with trade shows, let me try to explain it to you. This is open to those who own and operate businesses of all types. This is a place where buyers come to find the latest and greatest in that special product that might take their business to the next level of success.

And so, here we are. Our first show, not really knowing what to expect. A lot of nerves, and so much excitement. All this, in hopes of giving the right “first impression”, after months of preparation. Luckily enough, I had my daughter with me. She can light up a room with her energy, as well as calm her mom’s nerves!

We were surrounded by some of nicest people who too were participating in the show. It really felt like we were like a “family” down there, and I feel as though we’ve made some lasting friendships.

We also made some wonderful contacts with buyers from so many baby boutiques and gift shops! Soon, you will be able to view all the locations that you may purchase Bella Bubs items!

To my happiness, Bella Bubs was presented with the award for Best Visual Display in the Just Kids Stuff division..yeah!

So, was it worth it? All the late nights sewing and the time away from my family? Well, with the exception of the time away from the ones I love, yes it was worth it.
